Terence had already had a supposed "wart" on his right thigh for a while.
As it had started to bother him and was growing, we had an operation on 13 June to remove it completely. The "thing" was sent in for safety reasons.
At the end of June we went to have the stitches removed. Unfortunately, we received the bad news that it was a grade III mast cell tumour.
However, as we were able to remove the tumour generously, we were optimistic at first. Until the vet palpated him and suddenly said in the groin area "Has he had this for a long time...?"
As it turned out during a later ultrasound and puncture, this was the next tumour. Unfortunately, it had already spread to the lymph nodes.
We decided in favour of cortisone treatment, as chemotherapy was also not very promising.
Unfortunately, the tumour grew incredibly quickly and he soon had quite a lump in his groin area.
Nevertheless, he was doing well under the circumstances.
Unfortunately, on 6 August, the tumour made it impossible for him to pee.
Bon voyage Terence!
